A live demonstration version of ALMSys® is available for download, and can be installed on
a standalone PC.
The ALMSys® download is approximately 53 megabytes.
Separate Downloads
All of the downloaded pieces put together will create the ALMSys® SQL Setup Before Install
program. After ALL pieces have been downloaded and unzipped, the actual
installation can commence.
Download each of these IN ORDER. Run (open) each of them. (Please note that this will install into the
"c:\ALMSys SQL x-x Setup" folder, where "x-x" is the current version.)
Each download will display a "WinZip Self-Extractor" window. Press the
Unzip button, then OK, then
Close.

After the last file has been downloaded and unzipped, it will automatically launch the
ALMSys® SQL Setup Before Install program. This installation program will assemble the 8
downloaded parts into the final installation set.

Installation button. (Please note that this will install into the
"c:\ALMSys SQL x-x Setup" folder, where "x-x" is the current version.)

ALMSys® uses Microsoft® SQL Server® as its database backbone. A standalone, runtime version of
SQL Server called the "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express" must also be downloaded and installed. Instructions for
this installation are included in the ALMSys® Installation Instructions referenced in the above paragraph.
