Accounts: Account - Contact History

This is used to keep notes and reminders for a customer. Any contact with the customer should be logged here. You may also set a reminder for a future event.

Layout / How to
The left side of the screen will show all of the contact history, by date, for this account. To view a history item, simply click on it. By default, the list of events will display in descending date order, so that the newest item is on top. The current sorted column will be teal with an indicator for the sort order (pointing up is descending order, down is ascending order). To reverse the order, simply click on the teal column header.

The top, right portion of the screen is for current event contact information. You may edit a contact history item there.

The bottom, right portion of the screen is for adding, copying, and dismissing outstanding reminders for this account.

You may limit the list of contact history displayed for this customer as specified at the top of the contact history grid.

Click the button in the Contact History grid to add a new note. Use the button to copy an existing note to a new one. Use the button to delete a contact history entry.

By default, new entries are not attached to a specific deal for the customer. Use the Select Specific Deal button to make this entry specific to a deal number.

Outstanding Reminders
You may add, copy, and dismiss outstanding reminders from the grid below the edit panel. All new adds and copies are done through the Reminders screen, so be prepared for the screen change. Your add/copy will be started for you; all you need to do is edit the note, set the date and save it. (Click on the button to return after editing and saving the reminder in order to return to this screen.)
