Configuration Options
ALMSys® may be set up on either a standalone PC or on a network. Further, it can be configured
as a single company, a single financial institution with multiple branches, or as a service
bureau for multiple companies.
GM Dealerships can configure ALMSys® to distinguish between closed and open-ended leases.
System Configuration
ALMSys® runs on Microsoft® Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 platforms.
Standalone installations require a minimum of 512 MB RAM.
Network Requirements
Network versions of ALMSys® require Microsoft® SQL Server® version 2005 or higher.
Workstations must have Windows XP
or higher and should have at least 512 MB RAM.
Security
ALMSys® is a comprehensively secure system. Each user must login with an I.D. and a password.
Your designated ALMSys® system administrator will assign security allowances to each user I.D.
defined to the system.
License Agreement
Use of ALMSys® requires a License Agreement to be signed between your company and ALMSys, Inc.
Before ordering ALMSys®, please review the agreement so that you understand the licensing terms
of the software.
Maintenance & Support
Use of ALMSys® requires a monthly maintenance fee to be paid to ALMSys, Inc. This fee covers
all telephone support and all future versions of the product.
Telephone support is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. Pacific time.
Data Conversion
ALMSys® provides conversion programs from some other leasing or loan products. Please contact ALMSys,
Inc. for more details on converting your data from another product.
Installation & Training
On-site installation & training is available at a fixed price. If you are not converting
data from another system, training via telephone is a lower cost option you may wish
to consider. Contact ALMSys, Inc. to discuss your training needs.
